John Billingsley is known to Star Trek fans as Dr. Phlox, and in this episode of Hungry Trilobyte, we do get to discuss a lot of the more fun aspects of the character (as well as some less-than-fun aspects of the makeup!). John then indulges me in talking about moving from acting to social responsibility, and using your means (whatever they may be) to help people in your community. Currently, he’s been making his difference at the Hollywood Food Coalition, an organization that addresses hunger.

To find out more about the Hollywood Food Coalition, visit their website and follow their Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook feeds.  You can made a donation to them at this link.

You can follow John’s internet musing on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Noah has also done his best to promote causes like Type I, an organization dedicated to cutting down obstacles to diabetics having access to insulin. In addition, he and his fellow Discovery castmates have an online Dungeons and Dragons game running, which might lead to community-building efforts all of its own.
